Our hiring process

Where schedules allow, we love to bring candidates into the office at least once during the process. It's a chance to see where you'd be working, meet the team in person, and get a real feel for the environment beyond a video call.

Your first conversation will usually be with our recruiting team. We'll learn more about your background, what you're looking for in your next role, and share more about Taktile.

Next you'll typically meet the hiring manager. This conversation focuses on your experience, your approach to solving problems, and how you've worked with teams in the past.
It's also a chance to go deeper into the role, the team, and the challenges you would be working on.

We believe the best way to understand how someone works is through practical exercises. Depending on the role, you may complete a technical interview, case study, or work-related challenge.

This step is designed to mirror real work as much as possible so you can show how you think and approach problems. The goal is not to develop a perfect solution, but to demonstrate how you would approach certain topics.

This stage may also include conversations with cross-functional team members that this role would closely work with.

Our final interview focuses on alignment - both with the role and with how we work as a company. This conversation is typically with a founder or senior leader and explores what motivates you, how you collaborate, and how you approach ownership and impact. If the final interview goes well, we would then reach out to a speak to a couple of your references.

Location & Work Setup

We are an hybrid company. We believe that the high-intensity collaboration required to build Taktile happens best when we are together in person. For team members based in a city where we have a hub, we work 3 days per week in-office and 2 days from home.

Visa support is not guaranteed and depends heavily on the specific role, location, and local legal constraints. If you require sponsorship, please flag this early in the application process so we can give you a clear answer on what is possible for that specific position.
